JFSL 370 Section V Introduction

The food grade testing in Japan is managed by the Japanese Department of Health and Social Safety (Ministry of Health and Safety), and the relevant regulations are Japan Food Sanitation Law 370.

Soluble heavy metal content: Cadmium, lead, mercury, chromium, arsenic and other heavy metals can pose serious hazards to the natural environment and human body. For example, chronic low-level exposure to lead can cause changes in human immune function and inhibit antibody production; Causing delayed intellectual development in children and infants, and even causing serious consequences such as convulsions. Foreign countries have already strictly controlled the heavy metal content of various products that come into contact with the human body, and the European Community, the United States, Japan, and other countries have formulated various relevant regulations and standards.
