Data: 2022-12-01 Views: 2372

Starting from February 6, 2023, Amazon will begin restricting the sale of the following categories of products to California that are not registered in MAEDbS:

• Light bulb;

Swimming pool products and portable spa products;

Portable air conditioning;

• Computers and monitors.

The above must meet the requirements of the CEC Title20 Electrical Energy Efficiency Standard and be registered in the CEC Energy Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS). The registration information includes brand name, manufacturer name, and model number. That is to say, the above categories must meet the CEC Title 20 energy efficiency certification and be registered in the CEC Energy Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS). Without CEC MAEDbS registration, sales in California will not be possible. Once the seller completes MAEDbS registration, sales will automatically resume.
